SUMMARY:Altar of Repose
DESCRIPTION:The Altar of Repose reminds us of the Garden of Gethsemane, in which Jesus spent three agonizing hours between the Last Supper and his arrest.  The Reserved Sacrament is carried to the Altar of Repose in the Chapel of St. Mary, the Virgin where it will remain until Good Friday at noon.  Parishioners are encouraged to join in a prayer vigil at the Altar of Repose during the hours of 8 p.m. Thursday, April 1 and noon on Good Friday, April 2.  Jesus asked his disciples, “Could you not watch with me one hour?”\n
